At the June 3, 2020 meeting of the Community and Protective Services Committee, the Committee considered the attached CPS20-11 report from the City Planning & Community Development Division.
Sandy Archibald, representing Regina Cabs, addressed the Committee.
The Committee adopted a resolution to concur in the recommendation, after amending recommendation #2 to read, amend The Taxi Bylaw, 1994 to issue seasonal taxicab owners’ licences in an amount equal to 37% of total regular and temporary taxicab owners’ licences held by licensed taxicab brokers directly to the taxicab brokers.
Recommendation #1 and 3 noted in the attached report CPS20-11 Seasonal Taxi Licenses do not require City Council approval.
