Approval of Public Agenda
Councillor Bob Hawkins moved, AND IT WAS RESOLVED, that the agenda for this meeting be approved, as submitted, and that the delegations and items be heard in the order they are called forward by the Chairperson
Adoption of Minutes
Councillor Lori Bresciani moved, AND IT WAS RESOLVED, that the minutes for the meeting held on May 19, 2020 be adopted, as circulated.
Administration Reports
PWI20-6 Cycling Safety & Passing
Recommendation
The Public Works and Infrastructure Committee recommends that City Council: 1. Approve the recommendations as detailed in Appendix A to this report. 2. Remove item CR20-22 from the List of Outstanding Items for the Community and Protective Services Committee. 3. Direct the City Solicitor to prepare the necessary bylaws to amend The Regina Traffic. Bylaw No. 9900 (Traffic Bylaw) to reflect the changes proposed in this report. 4. Approve these recommendations at its September 30, 2020 meeting. |
David Bernakevitz, representing Bike Regina, addressed the Committee.
Councillor Andrew Stevens moved that the recommendation contained in the report be concurred in.
Councillor Andrew Stevens moved that this matter be referred to Administration to consult with Bike Regina and other cycling organizations regarding further amendments to increase cycling safety to be included in a report to the January 2021 Public Works and Infrastructure Committee meeting.

Recommendation
The Public Works and Infrastructure Committee recommends that City Council: 1. Consider the Winter Maintenance Policy Update during the 2021 Budget process. 2. Approve this recommendation at its September 30, 2020 meeting. |
Councillor Bob Hawkins moved that the recommendation contained in the report be concurred in and that the date for Administration to bring a report with options to amend The Clean Property Bylaw, with respect to sidewalk clearing, be changed from Q3 of 2021 to Q2 of 2021.
